Crackle effect

The Vintage Crackle is a water based, one-component product that will help you achieve unique effects on your creations. 
-apply your colour. Wait at least an hour for the colour to dry (some surfaces may take longer). If you are painting wood, apply the colour along the grain. 
-apply the Crackle. Wait AT LEAST 5 hours, preferably one day. The crackle must be completely dry for the next step. 
-Apply your second colour IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. If you applied the crackle using horizontal brush strokes, apply the paint vertically. This is very important for the creation of these beautiful squares as the crackle is activated. 
As soon as you apply your colour, you will see the paint cracking, creating this unique surface.
